How the Bodybuilding Goals vary with the age

When we roam about different gyms, we get to know about different people belonging to different age groups. Although, each of them has own objectives in mind but there are few goals which are common among same class of age group.

In between 20-30 years of life, people are energetic and active. Their testosterone and energy levels are at peak. With all this, they also heal wounds instantly and recover from minor diseases within no time. This is an excellent time to boost up the body with muscles by employing strenuous bodybuilding workouts.

While passing through the decade of 30-40 years of life, people get their muscles matured and hence they avoid injuries at this stage in bodybuilding. Their testosterone level falls after they reach their absolute peak in this decade. Such peak is usually gained in between 32-36 years.

After people pass 40 years of life and enter into a new decade i.e. 40-50 years, their body deteriorates. At this age, people usually avoid bodybuilding training with heavy weights and shift to cardio exercises which help them to maintain their posture and structure to a great extent.

In between 50-60, body deteriorates rapidly. Hence, people go for cardiovascular and HRT bodybuilding training sessions and avoid dangerous lifting of weights. This makes them appear stronger and muscular among their peers.

When people get into 60’s or above, they are in their golden years. The only goal in mind is to remain active. At this age people, if lift bodybuilding weights; engage themselves into light exercises with cardiovascular training.

That’s how bodybuilding exercises and goals vary within each decade of life. Whoever does all this efficiently is considered to have spent successful and healthy life.
