Bodybuilding no doubt depends on having a good exercise plan, protein food and plenty of rest but there are some very minor steps which, if followed, can bring good results and add value to our bodybuilding process. I will explain them below and will advise all bodybuilders to follow them:
1- You must try best that you avoid injuries in bodybuilding because injuries can really make bodybuilding difficult and in some cases may even stop you from bodybuilding. The best way to avoid injuries is to warm up your body before starting exercise. You can warm up body just by stretching your arms and legs and jumping a bit. Warming up body ensures that your body is ready for having hard training exercises which can avoid any injuries or muscle cramps.
2- Make sure you take plenty of water during your workouts especially in summer. Our body is continuously sweating during exercise and losing lots of water and minerals. Taking water ensures that you get back the water and dehydration does not take place.
3- Start from smaller weights and gradually increase them to make sure that you do not injure yourself through hard training. You should start small and grow large gradually.
4- Pre and post supplements can play a vital role for bringing good results. Taking both the supplements before and after the exercise, approx. with 30-45 minutes of gap, can really boost our muscle building process by providing energy to our body. Pre-supplements help us to perform hard in the gym by providing energy and post-supplements help body to gain energy lost in the exercise.
5- Do not try to train your body 7 days a week. Fact of the matter is that exercising just 3-4 days is sufficient for body to build muscles because it requires time to repair and grow muscles which can be achieved via rest. So 3-4 days of exercise per week ensures that our body gets time for rest.
6- Try to find a partner who can assist you during the workouts. It will help you to ensure that you do exercise correctly and get motivation from your partner as well for training.
7- Try to locate a gym near surroundings so that you can easily go and perform your exercise regularly. Most of the people start exercise but find a gym which is far away. As a result, they do exercise in the start but due to time shortage and huge distance of gym from home or office, they gradually stop going there. So gym should be at a comfortable distance from your home or office.
