Exercise only makes our muscle tissues to get split and elongated and stimulates muscle growth. When we take rest or sleep, it gives the body time and opportunity to repair its muscles and help them grow.
It is recommended by gym trainers and physicians that you must take at-least 7-8 hours of rest to make sure that your body gets ample time to grow and repair.
