Getting well groomed arms surely is perhaps the most important part of our bodybuilding. Having big muscular arms adds to your impressive personality and bodybuilders try hard to achieve such arms. Bodybuilders with great muscular arms find themselves very impressive even when the arms are covered. So in this article, I will provide you some useful information on getting big arms.
Most of the bodybuilders fail to get good muscular arms just because they are informed that they need to work very hard and put extra amount of effort for it. This is totally nonsense and you do not need that much extra to get good arms. I will tell you some common exercises that can really get you good results. Keep in mind that your arms are only small part of your body and are a small muscle and hence training them once or twice a week is sufficient. You need the following exercises to get good results for your biceps and triceps:
1- Chin Ups: Chin ups are a very good and authentic way to get good arms. Chin ups are performed with a rod which is fixed above your head and you simply hang with it and pull your body to get your chin to that rod. Chin ups add tremendous amount of muscles to your arms and you can perform 8 repetitions per set for this exercise. To get maximum out of it, you may add weight belt with your body.
2- Dips are also a good source for adding muscles not only to your chest but also to your arms. You basically attend to a rod and lower your body to make it parallel and then come back to original position. Again, if you want to get maximum benefits, you can add weight during this exercise.
3- Shut grip bench press is a great way to build your chest and triceps in real quick time. It is performed with a bar placed on a rack and you simply lie on a bench and grip the rod with your hands shoulder width open. You pick the rod and take it to your chest and then bring it back to its normal position. You can add weight to get maximum results and perform 8-10 reps of this exercise per set.
These three exercises are sufficient to get you good arms. So do not put yourself in much of trouble by doing extra exercises.
